How can I make a reservation?
You can make a reservation for an overnight stay at our hotel via our own website. Would you like to make a reservation for groups (more than eight rooms)? Then please contact us via reservations@mercure-tilburg.nl.
Can I cancel my reservation free of charge?
Whether you can cancel your booking free of charge depends on the type of rate you set when making your reservation. See the various options below:
How can I reach the hotel by car?
Mercure Hotel Tilburg Centrum is located in the centre of Tilburg. On the A58 from Eindhoven, take exit 10 towards Tilburg-Centrum Oost. When entering Tilburg, follow the signs towards the centre. You will then reach the hotel via Spoorlaan and Heuvelring.
Coming from Breda, on the A58 take exit 11 towards Tilburg-Centrum-West. When entering Tilburg, follow the signs towards the centre. You will then reach the hotel via Spoorlaan and Heuvelring.
Are you using navigation? Then navigate to Heuvelpoort 353.
How can I reach the hotel by public transport?
We consider it very important that we contribute to a healthy environment. If you travel to our hotel by public transport, you also contribute to this. The CO2 emissions per person are lower when using public transport than when using a car.Finally, buses and trains burden our environment much less than cars. They transport many people at once, last a long time and emit far less CO2 out. Since 2017, travelling by train in the Netherlands CO2-neutral. All electric trains run 100% on wind power. And many buses are already moving forward without leaving pollutants behind.
It is very easy to reach our hotel by public transport. Our hotel is close to Tilburg Central Station, just a 14-minute walk away.
There is also a bus from Tilburg Central Station that stops at Heuvelring. You are then 2 minutes away from our hotel. You can take Arriva catch bus 7 or 1.
For up-to-date public transport information, we recommend you check the 9292 website. Wherever you come from today you can always reach the hotel.
If you have OV and also plan to cycle around Tilburg during your stay. Then hire an OV bike to get to our hotel. You can also park it opposite our hotel. What room types do you offer?
At Mercure Hotel Tilburg Centrum, we offer standard rooms and privilege rooms, as well as a number of family rooms and one suite.
We offer standard rooms with one double bed or with two separate single beds.
If you are staying overnight with your family, you can opt for a family room (triple room). This room has a double bed and a sofa which can be converted into a sofa bed for children. You can stay here with two adults and two children.
In addition, you can stay overnight in one of our privilege rooms. These feature a king-size double bed, stocked minibar with 5 soft drinks and a bottle of water, a bathrobe and slippers, a docking station, free entry to Basic-Fit, a premium Wi-Fi voucher and a delicious friandise on arrival.
Finally, Mercure Hotel Tilburg Centrum has one suite. This suite is located on the top floor and has a separate living room and bedroom. In addition, this suite has a shower and a bath. Here you can fully relax.

Is it possible to eat at the hotel?
Mercure Hotel Tilburg Centrum serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our bar is open daily from 07:00 to 23:00. View our menu here.
How does the hotel take care of your medical well-being?
At our hotel, your wellbeing is our main focus. We offer access to AXA's medical services to help with non-urgent medical situations. Contact our reception for more information.

How can I make a reservation?
Would you like to make a reservation? This is possible from 8 rooms and up!
To do so, please send an e-mail to reservations@mercure-tilburg.nl describing your requirements and our colleagues will check availability for you and send you a suitable offer.
What are the cancellation conditions?
Should you unexpectedly have to cancel all or part of your group booking, you can find below which cancellation conditions apply to your group. We distinguish between reservations up to 40 rooms and reservations from 40 rooms:

How can I reach the hotel by car?

Where can I park at Mercure Hotel Tilburg Centrum?
You can park at Heuvelpoort car park, located at the rear of Mercure Hotel Tilburg Centrum. Navigate to: Heuvelpoort 353 in Tilburg to reach the car park. Keep an eye on the Heuvelpoort car park website for current diversions.
Heuvelpoort car park has a number of disabled parking spaces (which can be found right by the door and lift), two lifts and a disabled lift specially adapted for wheelchairs.
TIP! When you park on the 9th floor, you will have direct access to the hotel. You can press the bell at the door and one of our colleagues will open the door for you.
What is the cost to park my car?
For current rates, please refer to the website of Heuvelpoort car park.
You can pay in various ways at Heuvelpoort car park. At the pay machines, it is possible to pay by cash, contactless or debit card or credit card. It is also possible to pay contactless at the exits.
Will I receive a receipt at the payment terminal?
Should you wish to obtain a receipt, you should pay at the pay machines. For a receipt, you can press the 'receipt' button at the pay machines; it will then be printed.
Is it possible to reserve a parking space?
At Heuvelpoort car park, it is possible to reserve a parking space via Park-spot. You can then easily drive in and out during your stay with a personal QR code. For all available dates and rates, go to Reservations - Heuvelpoort car park.
Are there options to charge my electric car?
It is possible to charge your electric car in Heuvelpoort car park. The car park has 22 parking spaces with an electric charging station and are located on the 8th and 9th floors.
Where can I park my bike?
Opposite our hotel you will find the guarded bicycle shed 'de Heuvel'. Here you can park your bicycle safely, covered and free of charge. See this website for more information and opening hours.
Can I rent bikes and what does it cost?
You can rent a bike for €10 per bike. A deposit of €30 per bike is required This deposit will be returned when the bikes are returned without damage.
What time can I check in?
You can check in from 15:00. If you wish to check in earlier (from 11:00), this is subject to our availability on your arrival date. The charge for this is €35.00. We cannot guarantee a check-in before 15:00.
If you would like to check in earlier but unfortunately this is not possible? You can leave your luggage in the custody of our Welcomers. This is free of charge and at your own risk. They will store your luggage in the baggage claim area. Using your ticket, you can collect your luggage later.
What is the check-out time?
Check-out is possible until 12 noon. Would you like to use the hotel room for longer? If the room is available, you can make use of a late check-out. For an additional €20, you can use the room until 14:00. For €50 you can have the room available until 18:00. Ask our Welcomers for the possibilities.
Is there a bath in my hotel room?
We have a number of hotel rooms where you can enjoy a relaxing bath. However, we cannot guarantee a hotel room including a bath. You can always mention this as a comment when booking. If possible, we will take this into account.
Can all the windows in my hotel room open?
Not all rooms have windows that can all be opened. If you prefer that the windows can be opened, please request this when booking. If available, we will take this into account. We cannot guarantee a hotel room with windows that can be opened.
Do I have a balcony at my hotel room?
We have some rooms with balcony. If you prefer a room with a balcony, please indicate this when you make your reservation. We cannot guarantee a hotel room with a balcony, but we try to take this into account as much as possible.
Is there a cot available in my hotel room?
It is possible to place a baby cot in your hotel room. This is completely free of charge and can be placed in the room upon request.
Is there a minibar in my room?
There is a minibar in your room. In a standard room, the minibar is empty on arrival and you have the option of filling it yourself. On the ground floor of the hotel, you can buy your favourite (soft) drinks at our brand store.
With a privilege room, the minibar is filled daily with five free soft drinks. You can also refill it yourself with products from our brand store located on the ground floor.
Is there always someone present at reception?
Our reception is manned 24 hours. So there is always someone ready to help you. Should you wish to reach the reception from your hotel room, you can dial number 9 using the available phone.
What to do if the front entrance is closed at a later date?
Are you returning to the hotel at a later time and the front entrance is closed? You can easily open the front entrance with your room key. If this does not work, you can ring the bell at the front entrance. The night porter will open the door for you so you can enter the hotel.
Can the reception provide me with activities in Tilburg?
We have trained Welcomers who can happily tell you all the great places and activities in Tilburg. Ask our Welcomers for more information or take a look at Discover Tilburg. There you will find all of Tilburg's hotspots.
Is there wifi in the hotel?
There are two types of Wi-Fi available in the hotel. First, you can use our free wifi network. This is a public network with the name 'Mercure Hotel Tilburg'. In addition, we have a faster, premium wifi. For this, we charge €9.95 per 24 hours. If you would like to use this, you can request it from our Welcomers.
Can I bring my pet?
Unfortunately, with the exception of assistance dogs, pets are not allowed at our hotel. However, they are of course more than welcome in the bar!
Do I need to identify myself during check-in?
During check-in, you must identify yourself with a valid proof of identity in accordance with Dutch law.
Until what age does my child need parental supervision?
From eighteen years and above, your child does not need parental permission to stay overnight with us. If your child is under eighteen, we would like to receive a written declaration from the parents/guardian including signature. It is also important that we receive a photo of a valid ID where only the name and photo are visible.
Are there any non-smoking rooms in the hotel?
At Mercure Hotel Tilburg Centrum, all rooms are non-smoking. Smoking is therefore not permitted. Smoking in the room will have consequences and a fine of €150 will be imposed.
Can I use sports facilities at the hotel?
Basic-Fit is located next to Hotel Mercure Tilburg Centrum. If you have booked a standard room, you can use the Basic-Fit for €5.95. When you use a privilege room, access to the Basic-Fit is free of charge.
Can I leave my luggage at the hotel for a while?
You can drop off your luggage for safekeeping at our Front Office. This is free of charge and at your own risk. They will store your luggage in the baggage claim area. Using your ticket, you can collect your luggage later.
Does the hotel have a swimming pool for guests to use?
Our hotel features a beautiful swimming pool with an infrared sauna, available exclusively to our guests. Opening hours are from Monday to Friday from 7am to 12 noon and then from 5pm to 10pm. On weekends, we are open from 7am to 10pm. We hope you will enjoy these relaxing facilities during your stay with us!
At what times can I use breakfast?
You can come and enjoy our rich breakfast buffet from Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 10:00 am. On Saturday and Sunday, you are welcome a little later, from 07:00 to 11:00.
Is it possible to book breakfast later?
Have you not booked a breakfast, but would still like to enjoy our extensive breakfast buffet? Then it is possible to book an extra breakfast upon arrival. The cost is €24.50 per person.
Can I order room service?
It is possible to order room service at the hotel. We charge an extra €3.50 for this. For all options and information, please contact our Welcomers.
Can my allergies and/or dietary requirements be taken into account?
It is always possible to accommodate your allergies and/or dietary requirements. We offer plenty of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Discuss your requirements with one of our staff members, they will be happy to help you.
Can I pay with cash?
From 1 March 2024, we will only accept debit card payments. Cash payments are no longer possible. Thank you for your understanding.
Can I pay by credit card?
It is possible to pay with the following credit cards with us: VISA, V PAY, Mastercard, AMEX and MAESTRO. PIN is, of course, also possible.
I would like to pay split, is that possible?
It is possible to pay split. You can indicate your wishes to one of our Welcomers. They can split the bill for you.
