The skating rink is.... Open!
Yes, on 7 December, the time has come. The skating rink everyone in town is talking about will open. On the Hill, until 5 January, you can put on your skates and enjoy a nice round of skating. Every day, as the ice rink is open seven days a week. With cake and biscuits in the background and the beautiful, festively decorated city centre as a backdrop, you can really enjoy yourself.
The ice rink is 500 m2 in size, providing enough space for a lot of visitors. And do you know what is extra special? The ice rink has a transparent canopy. So the Hill Church, which is beautifully illuminated at this time, remains clearly visible. An atmospheric image!
Opening hours
From 10am to 10pm, you are welcome to come and skate seven days a week (subject to some holidays). Admission is €5 and skate hire is €4. You can then spend the whole day on the ice! The ice rink has a fun programme every week. For example, there is a special children's afternoon on Wednesday, there is festive disco skating on Friday, everyone can let loose during a party with a DJ or artists on Saturday and it is extra cosy during the family day on Sunday. Furthermore, there is always pleasant music playing and you can warm up around a real campfire. A great outing for young and old alike!
