Walking

Tilburg is a lovely city to explore on foot. Take a leisurely stroll through the quiet Walking forest, explore nature and old farms in Moerenburg, or walk among the grazing Scottish Highlanders City Forest013. The modern Railway Park is perfect for a short walk through a lively city environment with viewing tower, water feature and green avenues. Cycling

Tilburg and its surroundings offer an excellent cycle junction network. Take a leisurely tour of the Reeshof, cycle along the Wilhelminakanaal, or choose a themed route such as the Van Gogh bicycle route which starts in the city. City parks & green spaces

Tilburg is surprisingly green. In the central Railway Park you will find a skate track, climbing tower and sunbathing areas. The Leijpark is popular for picnics and festivals, while the Walking forest and the forests near Stokhasselt perfect for a quiet walk in the woods or children playing. In City Forest013 you even walk or cycle past Scottish highlanders.

Active on the water

The Piushaven is the starting point for an active afternoon on the water. Hire a sup, canoe or sloop from Sup & Fun, Tilburg Sloop or The Paddle, and discover the city from a completely different angle. Also suitable for families or a relaxing afternoon with friends.

Sport & exercise
