A fun city break in Tilburg
The city is developing incredibly fast. It is the place to be right now. To see and experience, feel and taste creativity. Tilburg is for trendsetters, frontrunners, bon vivants and foodies. Something for everyone! Whether you explore the city on foot or by bike, it's worth booking a nice city trip to Tilburg.
Piushaven
Piushaven is a special part of Tilburg. It is the largest city harbour in Brabant, with large barges moored along the quays. Some of these barges have been converted as restaurants, barbershops or other attractions. The bridge in front of Villa Pastorie (a bed and breakfast) is still opened and closed by hand by a bridge keeper, how historical can you get? The pieces of history are a great contrast to all the hip developments in Piushaven.
Out of town for a while: pedal for La Trappe
If you take a nice city break in Tilburg, you should also try a Tilburg beer. Fifteen minutes by bike outside the city is Bierbrouwerij de Koningshoeven, where you can enjoy a delicious beer. Even if you are not a beer lover, the Koningshoeve is still worth seeing.
Railway Park
The Railway Park is a park in the centre of Tilburg where you can enjoy a walk around the park. You can also enjoy the sunshine in the grass. The park is home to a number of businesses such as a restaurant, sports facilities, camping, scouting, the Kempentoren tower and much more. This makes Spoorpark a unique piece of Tilburg. The park is especially lovely in spring and summer, but in winter it is beautifully decorated with lights and the view from the Kempentoren is breathtaking. In the Kempentoren, you have a view of all of Tilburg.
