How can I make a reservation?
You can make a reservation for an overnight stay in our hotel through our own website. Would you like to make a reservation for groups (more than eight rooms)? Please contact us at reservations@mercure-tilburg.nl.
Can I cancel my reservation free of charge?
Whether you can cancel your reservation free of charge depends on the type of rate you set when you made your reservation.
- If you have booked a room with a refundable rate, then there is no cancellation fee until 1 day before arrival (till 23:59). After this the first night will be charged.
- If you have booked a room with a non refundable rate, it is not possible to cancel free of charge and in case of cancellation or change, the full amount will be charged.
- If you choose a prepayable rate, you are guaranteed the price offered at the time of booking. The amount must be paid at the time of booking and the reservation cannot be cancelled free of charge.
- It is also possible to pay by credit card at the hotel reception.
How can I reach the hotel by car?
Mercure Hotel Tilburg Centrum is located in the centre of Tilburg. From Eindhoven on the A58, take exit 10 (to N269) towards Tilburg-Centrum Oost. When you enter Tilburg, follow the signs towards the center. You will reach the hotel via Spoorlaan and Heuvelring.
Coming from Breda, take exit 11 on the A58 towards Tilburg-Centrum-West. When you enter Tilburg, follow the signs towards the center. You will reach the hotel via Spoorlaan and Heuvelring.
The entrance and exit of the hotel is on the Hill side. Are you using navigation? Then navigate to Heuvelpoort 353 in Tilburg.
What types of rooms do you offer?
We offer different types of rooms. For example, you can stay with us in a standard room with a double bed or a standard room with two separate single beds. In addition, we also have a triple room, which is a room with one double bed and a sofa bed. You can also book a privilege room, this room has a king-size bed and comes with some extras. What are today's room rates?
Our hotel room rates fluctuate and vary from day to day. Please check our website for current prices. Current prices do not include CityTax. If you have any questions, please contact us.
Is it possible to eat at the hotel?
At Mercure Hotel Tilburg Centrum you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our bar is open daily from 07:00 to 23:00. View our menu here.
How does the hotel address your medical well-being?
At our hotel, your well-being is our priority. We provide access to AXA medical services to assist with non-urgent medical situations. Please contact our reception for more information.

What is the easiest way to book a taxi during my stay?

How can I make a reservation?
Would you like to make a reservation from 8 rooms up to a maximum of 60 rooms?
Please send an e-mail to reservations@mercure-tilburg.nl describing your wishes and our colleagues will check availability for you and send you a suitable quote.
What are the cancellation conditions?
Should you unexpectedly have to cancel all or part of your group booking, you can find below which cancellation conditions apply to your group. We distinguish between reservations of up to 40 rooms and reservations of 40 rooms or more:
Reservations up to 40 rooms:
- In the event of cancellation up to 4 weeks before the commencement date, the guest is entitled to cancel the rooms free of charge.
- In the event of cancellation up to 21 days before the commencement date, we are obliged to charge 25% of the reservation value.
- In the event of cancellation up to 14 days before the commencement date, we are obliged to charge 50% of the reservation value.
- In the event of cancellation up to 7 days before the commencement date, we are obliged to charge 75% of the reservation value.
- In the event of cancellation within 7 days before the commencement date, we are obliged to charge 100% of the reservation value, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Reservations from 40 rooms or more:
- In case of cancellation up to 8 weeks before the start date, the guest has the possibility to cancel the reservation free of charge.
- In the event of cancellation up to 6 weeks before the commencement date, we are obliged to charge 25% of the reservation value.
- In the event of cancellation up to 4 weeks before the commencement date, we are obliged to charge 50% of the reservation value.
- In the event of cancellation up to 14 days before the commencement date, we are obliged to charge 75% of the reservation value.
- In the event of cancellation up to 7 days before the commencement date, we are obliged to charge 90% of the reservation value, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- In the event of cancellation within 7 days before the commencement date, we are obliged to charge 100% of the reservation value, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Parking Mercure Hotel Tilburg Centrum
Where can I park at Mercure Hotel Tilburg Centrum?
You can park at Parkeergarage Heuvelpoort, located at the rear of Mercure Hotel Tilburg Centrum. Navigate to: Heuvelpoort 353 in Tilburg to reach the parking garage. Keep an eye on the Heuvelpoort parking garage website for any detours. Disabled parking spaces are also available in the parking garages.
Tip from us: if you park on the 9th floor you will have direct access to the hotel. The parking garage has two elevators, there are also plenty of disabled parking spaces.
What are the costs to park my car?
For the current rates please refer to the website of Hill Gate car park.
You can pay in different ways at Parking garage Heuvelpoort. At the pay machines it is possible to pay with cash, contactless or pin. It is also possible to pay contactless at the exits
Do I receive a receipt at the payment terminal?
If you wish to receive a receipt, you must pay at the pay machines. For a receipt, you can press the 'receipt' button at the pay machines; it will then be printed out.
Can I reserve a parking space in advance?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to reserve a parking space.
Is it possible to charge my electric car?
It is possible to charge your electric car in Heuvelpoort parking garage. The parking garage has 22 parking spaces with an electric charging station and are located on the 8th and 9th floors.
Where can I park my bicycle?
Opposite our hotel you will find the guarded bicycle parking area de Heuvel. Here you can park your bicycle safely, covered and free of charge. Check this website for more information and opening hours.
Bikes
Can I rent bikes and what does it cost?
You can rent a bike for €10 per bike. A board of €30 per bike is required. This deposit is returned when the bikes are returned without damage.
What time can I check in?
You can check in from 3 p.m. onwards. If you wish to check-in earlier, it is subject to our availability on your arrival date. We cannot guarantee a check-in before 3:00 pm.
If you would like to check in earlier but unfortunately that is not possible? You can leave your luggage in the custody of our Front Office. This is free of charge and at your own risk. They will store your luggage in the luggage room. Using your ticket, you can pick up your luggage later.
What is the check-out time?
Checking out is possible until noon. Would you like to use the hotel room longer? If the room is available, you can use a late check-out. For an additional €20 you can use the room until 2:00 pm. For €50 you can have the room available until 18:00. Ask our Welcomers for the possibilities.
My hotel room
Is there a bathtub in my hotel room?
We have some hotel rooms where you can enjoy a relaxing bath. However, we cannot guarantee a hotel room including a bath. You can always mention this as a remark when booking. If possible, we will take this into account.
Can all the windows in my hotel room open?
Not all rooms have windows that can all be opened. If you prefer that the windows can be opened, you can request this during your reservation. If available, we will take this into consideration. We cannot guarantee a hotel room with windows that can all be opened.
Do I have a balcony with my hotel room?
We have a number of rooms with balconies. If you prefer a room with a balcony, please indicate this when you make your reservation. We cannot guarantee a hotel room with a balcony, but we try to take this into account as much as possible.
Is there a baby crib available in my hotel room?
It is possible to place a baby crib in your hotel room. This is completely free of charge and can be placed in the room upon request.
Is there a minibar in my room?
There is a minibar in your room. In a standard room, the minibar is empty upon arrival and you have the option of filling it yourself. On the first floor of the hotel you can buy your favourite (soft) drinks at our brand store.
Is the minibar filled in the privilege room?
With a privilege room, the minibar is filled daily with five complimentary soft drinks. You can also replenish it yourself with products from our brand store.
In our hotel
Is there always someone present at the front desk?
Our front desk is staffed 24 hours. So there is always someone ready to help you. Should you wish to reach the reception desk from your hotel room, you can dial number 9 with the available phone.
What to do if the front entrance is closed at a later time?
Are you returning to the hotel at a later time and the front entrance is closed? You can easily open the front entrance with your room key. If this does not work, you can ring the bell at the front entrance. The night porter will open the door for you so you can enter the hotel.
Can the Front Office provide me with activities in Tilburg?
We have trained Welcomers who can gladly tell you all the fun places and activities in Tilburg. Ask our Welcomers for more information or take a look at Discover Tilburg. There you will find all the hotspots of Tilburg.
Is there wifi in the hotel?
There are two types of wifi available in the hotel. First, you can use our free wifi network. This is a public network with the name 'Mercure Hotel Tilburg'. In addition, we have a faster, premium wifi. For this we charge €9.95 per 24 hours. If you would like to use this, you can request this from our Welcomers.
Can I bring my pet?
Unfortunately, with the exception of assistance dogs, pets are not allowed at our hotel.
Do I need to identify myself during check-in?
During check-in you need to identify yourself with a valid ID according to Dutch law.
Until what age does my child need parental supervision?
From eighteen years and older, your child does not need parental permission to stay overnight with us. If your child is younger than eighteen we would like to receive a written statement from the parents/guardian including signature. In addition, it is important that we receive a photo of a valid ID where only the name and photo are visible.
Are there non-smoking rooms in the hotel?
At Mercure Hotel Tilburg Centrum all rooms are non-smoking. Smoking is therefore not allowed. Smoking in the room will have consequences and a fine of €150 will be imposed.
Can I use the hotel's sports facilities?
Basic-Fit is located next to Hotel Mercure Tilburg Centrum. When you have booked a standard room you can use the Basic-Fit for €5,95. When you use a privilege room, access to the Basic-Fit is free of charge.
Can I leave my luggage at the hotel?
You can safely leave your luggage with us free of charge to explore the centre of Tilburg.
Does the hotel have a pool available for guests?
Our hotel features a beautiful pool with an infrared sauna, exclusively for our guests. The operating hours are from Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and then from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. On weekends, we are open from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. We hope you'll enjoy these relaxing facilities during your stay with us!
Food and Drinks
At what times can I have breakfast?
You can enjoy our extensive breakfast buffet from Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 10:00 am. On Saturday and Sunday you are welcome a little later, namely from 07:00 am to 11:00 am.
Is it possible to book breakfast later?
Did you not book a breakfast, but you still want to enjoy our extensive breakfast buffet? Then it is possible to book extra breakfast on arrival. The costs are €24,50 per person.
Can I order room service?
It is possible to order room service in the hotel. (This way you do not have to go to the food, but we bring the food to you!) We charge an extra amount of €3,50 for this. Please contact our Welcomers for all possibilities and information.
Can my allergies and/or dietary requirements be taken into account?
It is always possible to take your allergies and/or dietary requirements into account. We offer plenty of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Please discuss your requirements with one of our staff members, they will be happy to help you.
Payment options
Can I pay with cash?
Starting March 1, 2024, we only accept card payments. Cash payments are no longer possible. Thank you for your understanding.
Can I pay by credit card?
It is possible to pay with the following credit cards with us: VISA, V PAY, Mastercard, AMEX and MAESTRO. Pin is of course also possible.
I would like to pay in parts, is that possible?
It is possible to pay split payments. You can indicate your wishes to one of our Welcomers. They can split the bill for you.
